Dr.Vishal Malavade is the chief Radiation Oncologist at RadOn Cancer Centre, Hubli. He did his M.B.B.S from SDM medical college, Dharwad and did M.D in Radiation Oncology from the prestigious KIDWAI Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, a premier oncology institute in the country. Thereafter, he worked in Karnataka Institute of Medical Science, Hubli as a Senior resident. He is technically experienced in all modalities of radiation delivery types from conventional techniques to recent advances the IMRT, IGRT,VMAT/ RAPID ARC, including SBRT with Respiratory Motion Gating Radiotherapy.
Dr.Vishal Malavade strongly believes that cancer is curable if detected early. He strives to achieve Maximum cure for the patient along with ensuring the best quality of life by advanced Radiation techniques. He also believes that patients should be counseled and made a part of the decision making process regarding their treatment.

  • IMRT and organ sparing approaches in laryngeal and pharyngeal cancers.
  • Managing respiratory motion in breast and Lung Cancers by Gating techniques.
  • Gynecological brachytherapy including intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy

  • He is also Life member of Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI) and Indian Society of Oncology (ISO)
